Much has been said about the new face of life of Akwa Ibom Investment and Property Company (APICO) under the watch of indefatigable Managing Director, Barr. Patrick Udomfang.
The state owned Company the Akwa Ibom investment and Company (APICO) which was almost moribund after its establishment for about fifteen years now without a touch for revival efficiency and productivity , has been given a new face of life as the Managing Director Barr. Patrick Udomfang embark on all round renovations, rehabilitation of machines and tools like generating Sets, vehicles as well as the introduction of emblem to advertise and project the image of the state Company..
When newsmen visited the company based on the development and meet the managing Director, to ascertain some fact about the introduction of emblem and others issues , the Managing Director, Barr . Udomfang told the journalists , that he came in and discovered that there was no touch for positive since the company was established about fifteen years now, that it was necessary that the state own company take the lead by introducing policies , ideas and innovations that will promote, build and project the own company more than private company.
He said the introduction of emblem paste on cars and other places was necessary to disseminate information about the government owned company in the state and beyond which he said will go along way to educate Akwa ibomites and Nigerians about the existence of the company.
MD, APICO ,Bar. Udomfang told journalist that he has put all machineries in place for efficiency and effective service delivery, which is inline with the Governor Udom Emmanuel’s policy, said he was ready to ensure the actualization of the present administration as the Managing Director.
He said he meet the company at the state where the vehicles, genateting sets, lift and others facilities where completely down., that today all facilities have been made functional.
He thanked God for working under the listening Governor, who always demonstrate high level of sensitivity on the plights of the people.
Barrr. Udomfang , said he will leave no stone unturned to ensure that he flies the state owned company and take it to a greater height maintenance that within the shortest time, all his good plans and programmes for the company
